Say Boo to the Flu

The AAP launched a new “Say Boo to the Flu” social media campaign that includes graphics for Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. The AAP will use #FluBeforeBoo to encourage everyone to get their flu shot before Halloween. The AAP will also be utilizing the hashtags #Ivax2Protect, #VaccinesWork, and #FightFlu throughout the 2019-2020 flu season.

Visit the AAP Immunizations web page for additional information and sample tweets that can be shared on your own social media accounts.

Lone Star Pediatrics would like to serve a community medical home for children in Ellis county and as part of this initiative, we conducted a National Breastfeeding Awareness Event in August 2023. The event was a good opportunity for new moms to better understand the process and technique as they reviewed with the breast feeding experts and IBCLC in our community. We look forward to more participation in the future. Please refer to our facebook page for more details.
